Are you ready to be stabbed and beheaded for Jesus?

I have been having dreams that depict one theme for a couple of times now – Persecution.

The first dream that I remember was, I was being stabbed by some police or soldiers in my legs and I was trying to run and hide despite the bleeding and this is because I am a Christian and I don’t want to deny Jesus.

The second dream that I clearly remember was just a week ago. I am being sent to a trial with some people. This is also about my faith. If I am found guilty of being a Christian, I will be beheaded.

I was crying in my dream. I am so afraid and begging to this person to save me in the trial. I also remember pleading to my mom to help me. But this dream transitions to the trial and a guy asking me if I am willing to die for Jesus. I said yes and then I woke up.

I am also having some dreams about a great flood washing the entire village I am in and seeing some members of my family being separated from me because of this flood. There were also some parts of that dream where my father went back in our house to get something and I also return to get my bible.

Can you help me interpret these dreams? Every time I remember these, I get goosebumps.

Please also pray for me. Thanks! God bless you. =)

Genesis 1– My Reflection

Genesis 1
God created the heavens and the earth, and all in it in separation and in accordance to its kind.

At verse 3, He created the light and noticed that it was good. And this light was the first creation he made that he was pleased. And this light was used to separate the darkness. Light is LIFE. For without life, we can’t do any task. We will never accomplish our purpose.

There are some verses in the Bible wherein, we, Christians / disciples describe as the light of the world. This means that we are being set apart from what this world teaches and what this world offers. Therefore, when God said that the Light was good, making as light of this world only implies that we were made to be good and to stand out in the dark.

In verse 2, God said that this place/land must provide vegetation and seed bearing plants and trees. Why did God decided to create seed bearing plants instead of trees that don’t bear any fruits? And take note, he also said that it was good when he saw it. So meaning, God wants his creations to be fruitful. He didn’t create us to be senseless, to be lazy, and to be nothing. He created us to bear much fruit and to be good in his eyes. His creations were created according to what He thinks look good and fruitful. God didn’t create any worthless thing; Especially, YOU. You are not worthless. (Read next to know why.)

In verse 26, God made the mankind according in “our” image. So the question is, “Why didn’t He make us like the fishes in the sea and the birds in the sky? Why not like the animals that he created to its kind? Well, this verse simply tells us who we are as His creation. We are SPECIAL. We are not like the others. We are built and created according to His image. And our God is a God of fruitfulness; A God who knows how to appreciate things; A God who gives importance to every detail. A God who simply wants the best out of every effort and every time spent.

In verse 28, the Lord said, “be fruitful and increase in number, fill the earth and subdue it…”
Here, it is clearly stated that our purpose is to be fruitful. Increase in number, that I think in a way that we will be able to multiply the fruitfulness that we should be living to. And the word Subdue means Conquer. So God didn’t just create us to bear fruit but to also be an over comer of this world. And since He made us and told us to be like these, it only means that He, our God, is also a conqueror of all creations.

So there is this very obvious message that this chapter tells me, tells us. It is to live according to our purpose; according to what God has designed us to be; According to the expectations He had with us from the very first time he created us. (However, we will always mess up that is why God gave us Jesus—we’ll look into it next.) Therefore, Let us please God by doing His will; by obeying his words and acting according to our purpose.

Cut the anchor loose and always choose LOVE.

Cut the anchor loose and always choose LOVE.

LOVE. Big word. So many definitions. So many translations. So many ways to show. But sometimes, Love is not only about those beautiful words. Love, admit it or not, is also about Letting go.

To let go is to inflict pain to yourself. To let go is to break your heart. But to let go is to set free. Set free the heart of the person who doesn’t belong to you.

Letting go is harsh. Letting go is hard. But letting go is Love.

Cut that anchor loose.

Let go of the feelings you’ve been holding on.

Forgive the people who caused you pain.

Choose to give space for another chance to fall in love again.

Love is unconditional. Love is something you shouldn’t be taking for granted.

Love is the reason of your existence and will always be will.

So have you set him/her free?

The Must-Have Commitment

It is really worth it to commit yourself into something you really want to achieve.

Like, when you are so focused to get the job well done and you end up not taking your breaks during your work just to finish that.

Or like, when you decided to miss out your favorite show on TV just to review for your board exams.

Also, when you stop dating people around you just to be able to find that one true love God made for you.

These examples are only a few of the situations we choose to take in our journey to success. May it be in school, in work, in ourselves, or in working out that relationship, Commitment is a must-have that we should always bring with us.

For without commitment, effort is nothing.

Fireworks is not just a song. It is something, isn’t it?

Fireworks is not just a song. It is something, isn't it?

When Katy Perry released her single, “Fireworks”, everyone was like, “baaaaby you’re a firewooooork! boom! boom! boom!”

And I was like, “Another song for holidays!”

Then after I heard the song a couple of times, and got LSS to it, I knew I was wrong. That song reminded me of the times I have felt like a garbage bag. It reminded me of the moments were my life was a bunch of mess hanging around the edge of the bridge waiting to fall into the stinky waters. It reminded me of the people who kept on pulling me down, and almost got me 6 feet under. And finally, it reminded me of how I was able to manage to get up, pull myself from the dirt and take that leap of faith.

The epic verse of the song that really strike my heart out was,
“You don’t have to feel like a waste of space
You’re original, cannot be replaced
If you only knew what the future holds
After a hurricane comes a rainbow”

There will be times in our lives where we would feel like the world just placed itself on our shoulders and we don’t have any choice but to carry it… Or times wherein the people around us never really understood what we’re going through and we couldn’t find that someone who could just sit with you and say, “I know, right?”.These moments in our lives will make us feel empty, depressed and even break our self esteem, pride and even the last drop of hope.

But, just like what Katy said, “After a hurricane, comes a rainbow.”

Which is really true. If you are reading this, then you have surpassed the hurricane. If you haven’t seen the rainbow yet, then just wait. Maybe the hurricane has not left yet, but look at were you are now. You are no longer in the middle of the storm right? You are now stronger and less vulnerable because of what you’ve been through. You may even experience another hurricane in your life, and you may even fall once again.

But the beauty about being in a hurricane? It is when you survived it and see the rainbow after it. It is when you finally see the sun setting up and you feel the heat on your body slowly and surely giving out the energy you need for the next battle you will take.

Fireworks is not just a song to sing every holiday. It is a song that will remind us that Baby, you are a firework, you know?! That baby, Come ‘on show ’em what your worth.

‘Coz you know what baby??

It’s always been inside of you, you and only YOU.

And now it’s time to let it through. 🙂

The battle with the Human Eye

Since this is going to be my first entry in my blog, I wanted this to be a bit strong but mild. Hah! I know, I got you confused over there, but what I am trying to say here is that… I wanted this to reveal who I am as a thinker, as a blogger, and as a Christian living for Jesus. I may blog things that are really not of good quality, or some stuff that you don’t really relate to, but whatever it is, I write not to please people but to please my loving God.  I am not after the judgment of the human eye, but of the judgment of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Basically, I made this blog for some reasons.

1. I just wanted to have one.

2. Since the first one was kinda unreasonable, I just thought of  writing some words of encouragements (I hope so)  that will make others feel that they are not alone in experiencing worldly things and challenges.

3. Well, yeah. This is a blog all about Jesus. Because my life has been restored because of Him and I don’t see any other reason for living than being with Jesus, talking about Jesus, loving Him, and encouraging people to take some time of trying to experience His love. And I’m sure, you guys, will never regret the feeling of being loved by the king and the savior. 🙂

So if some of you needs a friend, or a person you can talk to or even just a person who can listen to all of your rants about life,  I will be more than happy to assist you.  Just fill out to contact form attached in this post and let’s get connected. 🙂

Let us start this day right by thanking Jesus and spreading His unconditional love to all the people out there.

Love, love, love! 🙂

I am with Jesus. Are you?
